Kilimanjaro Trek

OVERVIEW

Mt. Kilimanjaro is Africa’s tallest mountain and it is the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Your conquest of Africa would not be complete without climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. The scenery at the top is simply breathtaking. The climb itself is exhilarating and adventurous. Trek Mt. Kilimanjaro via Marangu Route which is beginner-friendly so to speak.

DAY-BY-DAY

DAY 1

Drive from Moshi or Arusha to Mt. Kilimanjaro entrance. Begin the climb in the forested area and spend the night at Mandara Hut.

DAY 2

We continue with the climb leaving Mandara Hut and ending the day at Horombo Hut.

Day 3

The third day will take us from Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts where we will spend the night

DAY 4

From Kibo Hut we trek all the way to the summit and soak in the view and the sun. Once this is over the journey back down begins. From the summit we go back to Horombo Hut

Day 5

On the final day of the trek we will trace our way back to the entrance of the park via the lush forest. After this transport is available back to Arusha or Moshi.
