OVERVIEW
This is the ultimate Kenyan safari. All the major wildlife attractions in Kenya are included in this tour. Starting with Amboseli NP, Lake Nakuru NP, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara NR. See the Big Five in the Mara and Lake Nakuru NP. Pink flamingos on the shores of L. Nakuru. Follow the elephant trail in Amboseli NP and cool down in L. Naivasha.
DAY-BY-DAY
Day 1
Departure from hotel at 8:00 A.M. Drive to Amboseli NP arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive and dinner to bring the day to a close. Accommodation and meals at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar lodge.
DAY 2
Full day at Amboseli NP. Morning and afternoon game drives. See elephants, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippo among other wildlife. Scenic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro are also a feature of Amboseli NP. Optional activities include visiting a local Maasai Village and experience the tribe’s unique culture. All meals and accommodation at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar lodge.
DAY 3
Depart for L. Naivasha after breakfast. Arrive in time for lunch. Go on an afternoon boat ride to see hippos and take a nature walk among wildlife (herbivores) on Crescent Island. Meals and accommodation at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar facility.
Day 4
Drive to L. Nakuru NP after breakfast. Enjoy full day game drives at L. Nakuru NP. See pink flamingos on the shores of L. Nakuru. All meals and accommodation at Nakuru Sopa Lodge or similar facility.
DAY 5
Early drive to Masai Mara NR after breakfast. Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Meals and accommodation at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
DAY 6
Full day at Masai Mara NR. Morning and afternoon game drives. See the Big Five among other wildlife. Masai Mara is the ultimate safari destination in the world. Optional activities include hot-air balloon safaris @ $450 per person. A visit to the cultural Maasai village nearby. All meals and accommodation at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
DAY 7
Early game viewing followed by breakfast. Check out and drive back to Nairobi. Optional flying package available at extra cost. Drop off at hotel or airport after an unforgettable Kenyan safari.
